SHIPPING POLICY

This Shipping Policy explains how we handle, prepare and ship orders placed on L’Atelier des Capes & Épées.

1. Order processing times

Unless otherwise stated on the product page or at checkout:

  • Orders are generally prepared within 2 to 5 business days.
  • Orders placed at the weekend or on a public holiday are processed from the next business day.

In the event of an unusual delay in processing, we will inform you by email as soon as possible.

2. Shipping methods and delivery times

Parcels are shipped via our partner carriers (La Poste, private carriers or equivalent logistics partners).

At checkout, the available shipping methods for your address and the estimated delivery times are shown. These timeframes are provided by the carriers for information purposes only and may vary depending on :

  • your delivery address,

  • busy periods (holidays, sales, etc.),

  • events beyond our control (strikes, severe weather, transport disruptions).

We cannot guarantee an exact delivery date, but we do our best to meet the estimates shown when you place your order.

3. Delivery areas

We currently deliver to mainland France, as well as to many countries in Europe and internationally. The available destinations and corresponding fees are shown at checkout.

4. Shipping fees

Shipping fees are calculated automatically based on:

  • the delivery address,

  • the estimated weight or volume of the order,

  • the shipping method chosen.

The amount of the shipping fees is clearly indicated before you confirm your order.

In some cases, we may offer reduced or free shipping from a certain order amount. Where applicable, these conditions are indicated on the website or at checkout.

5. Order tracking

When your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing, where available, a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s website.

Tracking may take some time to display information (generally after the parcel has been first scanned by the carrier).

6. Undelivered, delayed or returned parcels

If your parcel is marked as delivered but you have not received it:

  • check your letterbox, with your neighbours or building manager,

  • check the tracking information provided by the carrier,

  • contact us at contact@atelier-capes-epees.fr, including your order number and any photos.

We will assess the situation with you (replacement, partial or full refund, as appropriate).

8. Customs duties and additional taxes

For deliveries outside your country of residence or outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or additional fees may be applied by local authorities or carriers.

These fees are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product prices or in the shipping fees shown on the website. We recommend that you contact the competent authorities in your country before placing an order.
